Statistics regarding vehicular accidents in Kentucky showed that just last year, 638 people died on the state’s roadways. Among those who were killed, 438 died because of motor vehicle accidents, 57.5% of whom were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Over all, Campbell County has recorded more than 3,300 vehicular collisions in 2013. In these accidents, 375 people were injured and five killed. Police officers charged around 1,810 people for not wearing seat belts.
