Lexington car accident hurts five

As of last Tuesday, September 1, the Lexington Police Department in Kentucky is still investigating the cause of a two-car collision that resulted in five people sustaining various injuries last Monday night, August 31.

According to police authorities, a car was heading down Lane Allen Road when it collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Lane Allen Road and Clay Mills Road at around 11:30 p.m.

The five people did not suffer from mortal or life-threatening injuries, police officers confirmed, noting that the people who incurred more serious wounds were two individuals who failed to put on their seat-belts during the incident.
