Betty Hensinger

Betty has been a legal assistant with Wilson & McQueen for over 14 years and in the legal field for over 24 years. She is a Corvette and Nascar enthusiast, an instrumentalist for her church and enjoys making quilt tops and spending time with her two daughters and granddaughters.

Sandy Rountree

Sandy has been assisting legal attorneys for 27 years. Fortunately ten and half of those years have been with Wilson & McQueen, where she enjoys fellowship and assisting a dedicated group of attorneys. Her other joys are her family, church, summertime at the lake, motorcycling, and baking, but her newest joy is being a grandmother.

Ellen Thomas

Ellen joined our staff as a legal assistant in 1993 and has worked in a law firm or as an Administrative Law Judge’s secretary since 1974. She works mainly in our Madisonville office but also helps out in Lexington. In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking, working crossword puzzles, and attending her granddaughter's softball games.

Paula Goff

Paula takes care of the firm's accounting; she is a favorite with the personnel and clients as she is responsible for processing payroll and client settlement checks. (Everyone likes to get paid.) She has been with Wilson & McQueen for over 20 years and hopes to continue with the firm until retirement. She loves to read, enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends

Sarah Watts

Sarah is a graduate of Asbury University, where she double-majored in Theological Studies and History. She also holds a Post-Baccalaureate Paralegal Certification from Eastern Kentucky University. Sarah is a receptionist at Wilson & McQueen and also maintains client information. Sarah is a self-proclaimed “nerd” who spends most of her free time engrossed in a book, playing a video game, or watching a cerebral film. Along with her husband and some friends, she has recently created Beatlands--a website dedicated to discussion of these interests as well as the arts and events of Kentucky.

Wade McGrath

Wade graduated from Transylvania University in 2012. He was picked up by Wilson & McQueen in August of 2013 and has fallen in love with the atmosphere.

Wade is the legal assistant to Chuck McQueen and Matt Tatman, largely handling clerical tasks for them. At some point, he has graduate school aspirations, but for right now, he’s just enjoying his time here.

Suzy Hall

Suzy graduated from Pikeville College with a double major in Sociology and Communications. After spending several years working as a Graphic Designer she has switched gears and is excited about her new career in the legal field. She is a receptionist here at Wilson and McQueen learning all the inner workings of the legal office environment. She is attending Eastern Kentucky University where she will obtain her Post-Baccalaureate Paralegal Certification in June.
